Guess what we got.....

THE KEYS!!!!!!
Going to be doing a few upgrades and renovations then moving in asap!

First thing to go....the popcorn ceilings....yum...
What's that???
You want a tour???
While sure....follow me right this way....
Our Soon To-Be Beautiful Bathroom....
with the cupboard knobs mounted almost on the floor! LOL!

Brooklyn's Room...
Already fixed it so the door bell doesn't buzz in her room...yes you heard me right! Instead now there is a wonderful chime from 3 big bells when you ring my door bell...it's really pretty neat...just not sure I'll like it during nap time...doubt the people ringing my doorbell during nap time will like it either when momma comes to the door! Baaahahahahaaa!

Master/Our Room...
don't you just love the retro look of the orange carpets???
Thought about keeping them....have a "vintage" feel to the house???
You say no??
OK...we'll RIP em' UP just for you!!!! ;)
Boy's Room...
including old fashion telephone and funny shelved closet. ;)

Kitchen...
Nice update/recovered cabinets and hardwood/pergo floors...loving all the natural lighting.

 Living area...
Basically brand new wood fireplace and carpet...lots more natural lighting.
 Dinning Room and Play Room...
Living Room and Play Room are one large connected area and form the shape of a right angle or L. The Dinning Room is position right in the corner of the L or right angle with the kitchen on the other side...forming all one large open area.

THE best moving boxes... Taco Times Mexi Fries Boxes...they are FREE and the perfect size! Maybe alittle smaller than the perfect size but still they are awesome!

Can't wait for the before and AFTERS~

Mother's Day Hand Print Planter

Our campfire group made these adorable Mother's Day planters yesterday...simple, cute, and easy for the kiddos to do.
Hmmm...I wonder if I'll get the 2 planters my boys made for Mother's Day. ;)
What you'll need:
Ceramic Planter
Soil
Flowers
Sample Size Paint
Coffee Filters (optional)

Place your coffee filter in the bottom of planter, this prevents any soil from spilling out of bottom during planting and watering.
Let child spoon in soil, squish outer plastic of planter to help remove flower, and place flower in pot.
Spoon in more soil if needed.
Paint their hand and help them place hand on side of planter. Making sure fingers are spread and room for the the thumb to be placed. We also helped while removing the hand, removing hand seemed to be more difficult than placing.
Repeat process other side of planter so there are 2 hand prints on planter.
Let paint dry and water your plant per instructions for beautiful, healthy flowers!

Happy Mommy's Day in 10 day~

The Seattle Foundation "GiveBIG" for Campfire USA

Today is GiveBIG, and we are excited to help The Seattle Foundation promote their 2nd annual online charitable giving event!

We hope you will consider participating in this community wide day of philanthropy by making a gift to Camp Fire USA Central Puget Sound Council.

Camp Fire provides need-based financial assistance to kids and families for all of our youth development programs.

Your support makes a difference! Here's how:

$50   Helps a child participate in one year Camp Fire USA CPSC
of Group Program. A gift of $50 covers their
annual membership and the cost of their uniform.

$100   Allows a child and their guardian to
attend a weekend retreat at Camp Sealth, Camp Fire USA CPSC
like Starflight Weekend.

$170   Provides a child with a campership to attend a week of Day Camp.

$550   Sends a child to a five-day session
of resident camp at Camp Sealth.

Our kids are in Campfire and it's a wonderful organization where they meet new friends, do crafts and games, participate in fundraising events for our local community and strive to make our community, family and the world a better place!

Campfire USA is co-ed and non-denominational. Age ranges from 3 years and up through high school!

To find/join a group near you or more information go to Campfire USA's website now!

Thank you!
