Get a little country

My mom and sisters ride horses and over the weekend my sisters had a "Gaming Show" with their saddle club. They participate in ALL day events: flags, international flags and barrel racing. It does take alot of the day because there are alot of kids to cycle through and sometimes they let the parents participate too at the end. It's alot of fun to watch but really fun for the kids to watch when my sisters went out (their auntie's). During the down time I took advantage of my surroundings and took a few "pretend" photographer photos and had fun at home editing! LOL!

Bradley on Leo, my sister Anna's horse and him trying to embrace his inner cowboy.
Really need to bring my real camera and not use my phone, makes me so mad when they turn out fuzzy!

Pretend Photographer, trying to take some pics for the "farm house" image for blog..better use real camera next time.

Bradley holding sissy, don't worry I was holding her too!

Yeehaw!

 Sarah and Cisco Barrel Racing

Brooklyn likes her cowgirl boots OFF...the better to chew on them!

Editing FUN!
(keep in mind, this was just for fun...I have no clue what I'm doing!!! LOL)

Used "Adjust Color" to create a warm hue.
Top photo is the original.

Used "Adjust Color" to create black and white look.

Used "Adjust Color" to create and aged look.

Used "Auto Expose" to (i think) its under expose...again...no professional here but i would think overexposing it would darken the image. Feel free to comment and let me know. LOL.

Always fun to experiment~

Know this Flower??

I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers for Mother's Day and this flower was included...well I'm not sure it's actually considered a flower.....
.....does anyone know what this is?? I would really love to plant it!
The stalk of flower/shrub is very hardy looking and reminds me somewhat of how rhubarb looks.

Anyways I figured I would ask my blogger friends to see if anyone knew what this was! If I cant figure it out before it dies I'll probably bring it in somewhere and ask the "professionals" LOL!
 It's just so cool looking!
Comment below if you know please!

Need some Flower Power~

House: Before and In Progress Photos

First things first.....Bye Bye Popcorn Ceiling!

Spray the popcorn with warm water...needs to be VERY wet to discourage any damage to dry wall underneath. After popcorn is soaked scrape off with a 6" putty knife/scrapper. Work in small areas. Highly suggest this be a 2 person job. Also creates a HUGE mess...make sure you cover the floor, we had everything all taped and covered in plastic before hand.

After popcorn is gone we primed the ceiling, textured and painted!

Ceiling After

This improvement alone made the house look brand new! Amazing what the popcorn does for the look of a house...yuk!

Progress on the rest of the house???? Here's some sneak peak pics!
So far whats on the list:
New paint entire house
Replace all light fixtures
New outlets and light switches
Replace all door locks
Adding some outlets
Installing fan boxes for mounting
New Carpet
And much more....

Still packing, cant wait to start decorating~

p.s. I know some of my pictures suck and are blurry sometimes, finally found my camera so I'll try to remember to take them with that instead. I just rely too much on my phone camera. Now I think of those stupid "beta phone tester commercials" when I take a pic...but sometimes the pictures are awesome and others...well...you can see NOT! But its the convenience that I love! I'm working on it! ;) Found the camera now just gotta find the charger! Baaahahaha!
